MACal Glass Decor 700 series are 3.1mil polymeric translucent vinyls coated with a long-life durable, highly cohesive acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, which is protected with a high quality siliconized kraft paper. Face material of this film is made from 80 μm matt polymeric translucent stabilized vinyl film, cadmium-free, coated with high quality acrylic solvent based adhesive, very cohesive and extremely durable. Liner construction is highly stable 135 gsm white kraft paper printed with red backprinting.

Decoration of windows and glass decor for an etched, frosted or sandblasted effect. Suitable for outdoor and indoor applications.

Durability
5 years.
These use-life estimates are based upon accelerated ageing studies and outdoor exposure, under conditions experienced in vertical exposure and in "normal" temperate climates.
Note : Exposure to severe temperatures and ultraviolet light, as well as conditions in southern European countries, and also in tropical, sub-tropical or desert regions, will cause a more rapid deterioration. This also applies to polluted areas, high altitude, horizontal and south-facing exposure.

Processing
MACal Glass Decor 700 series can be screen printed. Contact screen ink supplier for advice on suitable inks.
Clean, quick, trouble-free cutting with most plotters. Adjustment of the cutting depth is important : if the cut is too deep this could result in the paper splitting and coming away with the adhesive when the vinyl is transferred to Application Tape.
Application of pre-spaced letters, logos and decals made from MACal Glass Decor 700 is made easier using MACtransfer Application Tape. For a uniform appearance, application by the wet method is recommended.
